More than three decades after helping define the sound of underground techno, Dimensional Holofonic Sound (DHS) returns with Concept Record, the sixth full-length album from electronic musician, producer and visual artist Ben Stokes. Released August 12, 2026, Concept Record arrives as both a digital album and an extraordinary physical edition that reimagines what a vinyl record can be.
At its heart, Concept Record is an instrument disguised as an album.
Pressed as a deluxe two-disc gatefold 12-inch LP, the release functions simultaneously as a collection of finished compositions and an interactive performance tool. The records contain 15 locked grooves, dozens of rhythmic and sonic fragments, and carefully synchronized loops that allow DJs to create entirely new compositions in real time using two turntables.
