Refund and Return Policy

Please contact us through our contact form to begin the return process, and allow 24 hours for a response. Include your order number, item(s) you want to return, and reason for return in your message. Please check your spam inbox if you haven’t received a response within 24 hours.

Items that are sold as New may be returned for a refund within 14 days of the purchase (in-store) or date of shipment. New items returned within 15-30 days will incur a 15% restocking fee deducted from the refund. Mission Synths does not accept returns for new items that have been in the customer's possession for over 30 days. New items must be returned in the original undamaged packaging, still sealed, including all applicable accessories, and must be in original working condition fit for resale. Pre-Owned items marked as Excellent, Very Good, or Good may be returned within 7 days of purchase (in-store) or date of shipment (delivery), assuming there is no added damage to the item. Pre-Owned items returned within 8-14 days will incur a 15% restocking fee deducted from the refund. Please note items that are ineligible for return below. 

If an item is defective, please check the manufacturer’s policy and warranty, as it may need to be serviced by them directly. Returns for defective items will follow a 30 days from date of purchase return policy to be considered. 

If you received an item damaged during transit, please take a photo of the item, the damage, and the original packaging you received it in. Email the photos to us at shop@missionsynths.com.

Once the return is approved: Pack the item with all manuals, adapters, cables, etc. the original box, and place inside a shipping box or container. Items missing a box or accessories will be charged a 15% restocking fee from the refund. Please ship your return back to us within three business days of approval. Items shipped outside of the three business days risk being subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges and shipping insurance for all returns, with the exception of defective items. If your order was originally shipped for free, the outgoing shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Mission Synths is not responsible for any items damaged during return shipping. 

Once your return is received, please allow 3 business days for us to process. Please note, customers abusing our return policy will be flagged.

Special Orders

Once a special order is placed with our shop, we immediately place the order and complete the purchase with the distributor. Special orders are not eligible for a refund once the order has been submitted by the shop to the distributor.

The following items are not eligible for return except in cases of defects covered by the manufacturer’s warranty:

  • Special order items
  • DIY kits
  • Records, Cassettes, CDs
  • Books, Magazines
  • Cables
  • Demo Items
  • Clearance items
  • Items with activated warranties
  • Apparel
